BELIEVE IN WHAT YOU BREED…
C BAR H MARES
‘We value smart, athletic and cowy horses, with soundness, balance, good muscle, correct conformation and an even temperament. They should possess good bone, correct leg and foot conformation and should have smooth, flowing movement, with the stamina, responses and versatile ability to do anything asked of them. Breeding to this standard from day one has resulted in the generational success of the horses we ride today.’
Corey purchased and trained his first mare, Blue Garter, 2002 NCHA Horse Hall Of Fame Inductee #8. A phenomenal Cutting mare, Blue Garter fuelled Corey’s decision to begin breeding top quality, all-purpose Quarter horses. A big believer in mare-power, he is passionately loyal to the proven C Bar H broodmare lines and purposely remains very particular when choosing sires. Backed up completely by Trudy, who’s learned so much from him, Corey knows what he wants in a horse and why, and takes his time before making any decision. Applying a patient and sensible thought process, he’s never once been influenced to alter his selective breeding strategy, its success clearly evident in the generations of C Bar H progeny.
